There has been an uproar in India over this footage of the Ashwini Khud River chock full of trash after heavy rains. India's top environmental court ordered an investigation into the matter, eventually blaming the Shimla Municipal Corporation and the Solan Municipal Council for dumping four tons of solid waste into the water instead of taking it to a treatment plant.
