Scientists Find A Deep-Sea Shark Embryo Wiggling Within Its Egg Case
They found this curiosity in the waters off of Puerto Rico and believe that "it is likely a catshark in the genus Scyliorhinus, which are known to lay their egg cases on benthic organisms like corals (seen here) and sponges."
