In the undercard, Kurt Angle defeated Big Show and John Cena in a Triple Threat match to earn a title match for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania XX. In a separate storyline, Chavo Guerrero Jr. defeated Rey Mysterio. No Way Out grossed more than $450,000 in ticket sales from an attendance of approximately 11,000 and received 350,000 pay-per-view buys, contributing to WWE's increased pay-per-view revenue for the year.
